"Faith In My Trials"

When your heart weighs heavy.
And your trials they run deep.

Embrace the challenge, for what it brings.
Your problems soon will sleep!

You may know what you want.
But God knows what you need.

The lofty trek to thrones on high,
Is never what it seems!

So let Him take your hand in His.
And plant a trusted seed.

For when it sprouts into a tree,
You'll see how He redeems!

POET'S COMMENTS

These words are so powerful and applicable as to how God works. The hidden message I glean from these words is, "Let the Lord write your life story!" If each of us could do just that, our experience here on earth, would turn out far better than we could ever imagine.

Can you trust God? The All Mighty has created worlds without end, all creatures great and small, the air you breath, the water you drink. There is no creation He has not touched as far as the eye can see and as far as the ear can hear, and beyond. He is omnipotent. Yet, His sole purpose is your redemption.

Another subtle thought; "There is only One to follow and none else." Consider what we could learn if we placed our total trust in His direction through the promptings of the Holy Ghost. In our trials, the time we spend with the Spirit will heal us, lead us, and then guide us.

In order for this to happen the inner vessel must be purged. The obstacles and obstructions caused by the Adversary create much static. Through diligent prayer, and repentance a cleansing takes place. Light enters, and drives out any doubt or darkness. An amazing thing then takes place. Spiritual antennas are extended. The signal and reception between heaven and earth becomes crystal clear. Promptings enter the soul and there is no apprehension as to what, when, and how to face life.

This trusted seed in the poem, is nurtured by the Spirit. It grows and flourishes through obedience. Eventually that small seed once planted so long ago, is now a "tree of life" bearing precious fruit (See Alma 32). Each harvest in its season, produces many miracles that redeem not only oneself, but many who stand near the tree.

Those experiences that so often are unexpected, are heavenly confirmations, that God truly is in control if we will but allow it. So put you trust in God, and one day you will be a witness of the Master's hand reaching out to all of those who plant the seed of trust.
